About Me

Hello everyone! I'm Pedro Garcia, and I'm passionate about software development. My apprenticeship at UBS has been an amazing opportunity to dive deeper into the tech world. My interest in this field was sparked by my family and a lot of time spent on computers. Initially, I was just into gaming, but I quickly developed a love for creating software.

I specialize in Java, where I've worked on both the server side and the user interface of applications. JavaFX is a tool I've used for creating the visual parts of applications. I'm also skilled in JavaScript, which has allowed me to develop interactive and engaging websites for various projects. One of my recent projects is "Taskflow," which highlights my capabilities.

The constant advancements in technology keep me motivated. There's a real joy in coding something and seeing it come to life.

My interests are broad, covering everything from starting new businesses and developing websites to working on the technical backbone that powers those sites. These fields are full of opportunities to innovate and be creative.

During my time at UBS, I'm eager to learn as much as I can, not just to advance in my career but also to help my colleagues and apply my skills in all aspects of my life.

When I'm not working on tech, I often play basketball with friends or hit the gym. These activities keep me fit but also teach me discipline, which is crucial when tackling complex tech challenges or deepening my expertise in my field.

My philosophy is all about balancing discipline with ongoing learning, enhancing my abilities in both areas.
